I would like to be a moderator in the park for 10 minutes. There is a very unpatriotic member in here ( he will remain nameless ) and most of his comments like , it's been a week and no chemical weapons yet , this war is not legal , are completely MORONIC. I can't say what I would like to do.

Thank you.
One thing that I hope many Americans realize is that the war is just getting started and many battles are ahead. It seems people today expect instance gratification, one simple example would be having to wait more then 1 hour for the lastest script update any longer and people get pissed. In the case of Saddam the Iraqi people have waited long enough and good things will come to them. In order to achieve this objective many will suffer and thats the price of freedom.Through out history millions have died in the name of freedom and it is because of these men and women we today enjoy our freedom ,we owe them a THANK YOU for the lives the gave and the lives the will give in the name of freedom. There is a price to pay for everything in this world, sometimes money sometimes goods, but the price for freedom has always been lives, just look at the history of the world. It costs a few so the many can be free. Those of you who don't believe this or understand this should probably be living in Afganistan under the Taliban and see how much freedom cost and what they would be willing to do for freedom. It's not just about freedom for the people of Iraq but about keeping the people of the world safe, if you don't think for one second that Saddam would'nt sell any Chem or Bio weapon to Osama or any other fanatic think again,he kills his own people, imagine if Bush did that. The easiest thing to do is just turn your head and look the other way.(Hitler)Nobody ever got anywhere by doing the easy thing. The price of freedom isn't easy.
As Martin Luther King said LET FREEDOM RING!!!!

Well dssdog, shoot nobody mentioned your name ..LOL.
but I was trying to point out to Chevy that maybe that we have all been mistaken about this (Nameless) person.
Really I am trying to keep the peace around here and if you was really unpatriotic then I can't see why you would post that, even If someone did indeed E-mail it to you.
Then again who knows for sure the way you really feel, you are of course entitled to your opinion.
Oh one question for dssdog??
Does your avatar mean the "USA kicks A$$".. :)
I sure wish my X friend Braindamage was around to correct my spellin..:gg
But I understand he is getting "ballet Line dancing lessons" on Saturday Night..LMAO

Yes it does.... btw try working in a restaurant, where everyone is liberal and you and well one other guy in 100 people are bitching about how this war is stupid and stuff. I mean come on they are complaining we don't do enough to help people and the government only cares about itself then when we do somthing for someone else we are morons for risking lives of other people. Oke do the math in a week we have lost what 50 people out of 300,000? Ok if i lived in a city of 300,000 (which i do) more people are killed in traffic accidents and stuff like that than in this war.
Think about it

" There is a very unpatriotic member in here " are my words. That's why I started this thread , because of that unpatriotic member.

I think someone may have mistaken that member for me.
It was not ME folks.
I am as patriotic as it gets. I not only support our troops, and the war, but I support the idea behind it.
And, MercurE1, pink happens to look just fine on me. :gg I am not insecure with my masculinity. I can wear pink and make it look good. LMAO

Well, this “debate” could last longer then the war. I’ve inserted a quote, before you dismiss it, read it carefully and think about it. Think about the patriot act and the patriot act II, (the direct effect they could have on this site). I know I can’t convince the posters of this board to change their minds, not even going to try, I only ask that you open your minds and think about the changes in our rights and the changes that will take place in the future, long after the war ends. I have been called unpatriotic, that’s fine, I believe there is nothing more patriotic than bring those people home so they can enjoy their lives and families. You may disagree, that’s your right. With that said…
Peace Out!
""All propaganda must be popular and its intellectual level must be adjusted to the most limited intelligence among those it is addressed to. Consequently, the greater the mass it is intended to reach, the lower its purely intellectual level will have to be. But if, as in propaganda for sticking out a war, the aim is to influence a whole people, we must avoid excessive intellectual demands on our public, and too much caution cannot be exerted in this direction. The more modest its intellectual ballast, the more exclusively it takes into consideration the emotions of the masses, the more effective it will be. And this is the best proof of the soundness or unsoundness of a propaganda campaign, and not success in pleasing a few scholars or young aesthetes. The art of propaganda lies in understanding the emotional ideas of the great masses and finding, through a psychologically correct form, the way to the attention and thence to the heart of the broad masses. The fact that our bright boys do not understand this merely shows how mentally lazy and conceited they are. Once we understand how necessary it is for propaganda to be adjusted to the broad mass, the following rule results: It is a mistake to make propaganda many-sided, like scientific instruction, for instance. The receptivity of the great masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan. As soon as you sacrifice this slogan and try to be many-sided, the effect will piddle away, for the crowd can neither digest nor retain the material offered. In this way the result is weakened and in the end entirely cancelled out. Thus we see that propaganda must follow a simple line and correspondingly the basic tactics must be psychologically sound. "
