Excellent article. Thanks gmann
'I can't say anything bad against DirecTV for protecting their signal,'' Kessler said, adding, ''I would just be happier if they would pursue people with a little more discrimination.''
That would cost DTV money to actually "investigate". It's easier to mass accuse and reap the spoils of their bogus actions. I would imagine the the men who crafted our constitution are rolling over in their graves as we speak.

Also interesting:
"None of the people sued May 23 has a lawyer listed on the dockets yet, and might not be aware yet that a suit has been filed.
Some of those sued in January in Scranton already have settled for undisclosed amounts. Others, who did not respond to the January suits, have seen default judgments of more than $10,000 entered against them.
None of the suits has gone to trial in Pennsylvania."
Seems Dave goes after the easy targets.

Most of the lawsuits were filed on May 23, the last business day before the two-year statute of limitations after the raids would have expired.
''That's why you're seeing a wave of these things,'' said Mercer.
Hmm...Stump, Storey, and Callahan must've missed that memo (they filed 200+ cases in Florida this week, mostly Fulfillment Plus).
But they'd never knowingly bring a "stale" law suit would they.....:R

Well only time will tell what happens from this point..
Like I have stated before once they file suit they can drag it out forever if they want to,they are holding the cards and only they know exactly what is going on.
Folks can try to second guess around here but at the end of the day it will make no difference.

I think the scumbags are trying to make money the old fashion way..extort it!
The rush... at the end here.. was probably not thought out well and 'I hope' will be a disappointment to all these lowlife ambulance chasing attorneys that participated.
