Looking at what dtv, the Us, and Canada has beeen doing in using the dmca to enforce their signal integrity, how is it possible that dealers in canada can still supply product/software. I mean look at who's advertizing here not to mention past advertizers like "dime dealer" and "dumb Dave"

And what the hell is a "fuse" 3m?

GS2 can you clarify the black/grey/white satellite market business model for me?

The Supreme Court made up of Liberal Judges ruled that Black/Grey market is illegal. The only way that can change is a ruling that the law is unconsitutional as it inflinges on section 2b of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

White Market is the corrupt company like ExpressVu who has the biggest market piracy problem in North America.

Expressvu is taking page right out of the DTV piracy book. Let piracy grow for a number of years and allow pirates to aquire equipement, then bring the boom down and make them all pay

Bell in the first quarter had 13,000 new subscribers, but probably
sold over a 100,000. receivers! I wonder where they went?
You can buy large Quantities of ExpressVu at Costco, and classify
them for resale, so you don't even have to pay PST.
Now thats what I call limited distribution!

Ya but probably there was a fair amount of the 13,000 who took the cheapest package and then had the card programmed to receive it all.

Thats why Bell is charging an extra 3.00 dollars a month for a total of over 50 million a year,as a system infrastructure fee.

Its too bad they don't have an infrastructure but it sounds good to grab a fee on.

There have been probably over 50 raids by the RCMP and numerous lawsuits. Well the ones that continue will until something happens. But even then your position is your not guilty and carry on buisness as usual until theres a Charter decision that will either open it up or close it.

Ones who do carry on are doing so at a great risk IMHO of losing their whole inventory and will be faced with huge lawyer fees unless they pleady guilty and close. Some think it can never happen to them type of attitude.
