XM/Sirus in Alberta/BC

Is anyone using either XM or Sirus in Alberta and/or BC? What is the coverage like? any issues with reception?

Were you able to buy it online? Did you need an American mailing address?

loud and clear in most of bc and alberta except for a few heavily treed or closely mountain areas.

you can likely find all you need new on ebay including head units, receivers and antennas

I've also heard of reception issues in some downtown cores. Apparently the US based services use repeaters in most urban centres. You're not likely to see repeaters in Canadian cities.

Sirius has better coverage, having 3 satellites that move gives a better range. :)
