As far as I know hack discussions are not allowable here.

Not to mention that hacking XM is not really the brightest thing to do.

Think about it.

$10 a month is dirt cheap for the service they provide. Start hacking and stealing their service and the price will go up for everyone.

Just pay the $10 and enjoy the music.

I have spoken my mind now. Back to your regularly scheduled program.

No, unfortunately you can't subscribe from Canada.
Continental US only.
I know they have lifetime memberships.
So your system is unlocked forever, but I can't afford that much.

Last July, I bought a Sirius FM Mod system for my motorhome,-- called the 800#, then gave my "Canadian" address; "Canadian" Mastercard# and Canadian IP address. I was listening to Oldies in 15 min. No problem and Excellent reception in BC. :) I also like having it on my computer. By the way, I also tried XM, but the commercials were just "too much"!! I recommend Sirius! PS: The XM was tried out using my Arizona address. This Sirius Radio service is

Getting a subscription is not that hard, i activated one of my radios when i was in mexico and used mexican credit card and mexican adress only i had to put a US state in the "state" field on their web page and in 30 minutes the activation was done, all of this was done on XM's webpage since you can activate your receiver without having to call ;)

You could give an address on Mars for all they care...as long as you provide a valid credit card number so they get paid, THEY WILL ACTIVATE IT!

And "testing" will not make the subscription price go up. Think about it, why would the price be raised if these heartless "hackers" were able to get it? These are typically not people that just want to hack, but usually people that have a VALID SUBSCRIPTION with "tested" sublets...that probably would not have subscribed in the first place had there been no hack. I by NO MEANS CONDONE HACKING, AND I CONDEMN THOSE THAT DO.....but to say that it will drive up the sub rates is beyond a ludicrous statement......

System IS NOT FOR CONTINENTAL US ONLY. You are now able to get Sirius Canada with certain limitations, and at a slightly higher price. This higher price is due to Canada's federal regulations.
