Im sorry about the Axe RiseStar - we all know about DTV and their workings - and Im sorry that everything has to go underground for the meantime. It's nice to see that you're still making a web presence - but for what reason? - There isn't any information here now - there's a bunch of Trash.

Actually, according to one of the admins (megados I think) the activity here now is a little above what it was before the Den went down. IOW, the new forums are getting more attention than the DTV forums....


There's more things to do online than discuss hacking DTV. Which we will be doing here again one day, I'm sure.

As you can probably notice, we have been making some changes around here. Although there are no longer DSS hacking discussions, there are a lot of other topics of interest here for a lot of people. More stuff is planned as well.

Sure wish we had a complete explanation on what happen to the site? Do you think it is possible? Will the site ever go back to the way it was? With Dss relate Info? That is what the Den use to be about. But really how about an explanation as to what happen? If at all possible

ragingranger, I don't have first hand info so this is all really just speculation backed up with some logic.


1) The threads are still there....you don't get "not found" or "invalid thread" when you try to go to them. You get "access denied". I believe they're still there.


2) The case is on-going so this isn't the way the Den will be forever. Either it's going down completely after the trial (hope not) or it's coming back in full force.


3) I believe Rise still cannot discuss the details of the case which is why he hasn't give more specifics.

I guess some people just DO NOT get it.

Risestar, is under a gag order.

He can not talk about the litigation that he is now under,
along with the pirateden. IF AND WHEN the order is lifted,
he will post, the things he can not talk about at this time.

Be thankful, Risestar stood up and put up a fight. It gives the other sites, something to use in court, if they get caught up in all this garbage. If Risestar, just shut down, no other site would have stood a chance. Risestar has given SOME hope to the other sites.

ALLBEIT, the workings of this site has changed somewhat, it DOES NOT mean that things will always be as they are now. Once you are given a court order, you have to follow the order to the letter of the law, or you lose.

no the site will never go back the way it was. if rise wins we will get some sections back for discussion but we will also keep all the fine topics we have today that we did not have back then. so this site will be that much richer with knowledge and content. if you don't beleive me try asking a tech question on just about anything and i can promise you that someone in this forum will have an answer for you. this site houses a group of minds like no other.

Evolution.............simply put, this site has undergone (and will continue) to evolve into something more that just a site about testing. The array of topics is outstanding. Sites that don't evolve just plain disappear I find.

There's just so much to learn from here now it's overwhelming at times. This is a GOOD thing!!
