Rise, could you add a .NET forum to the computer forums?

Maybe if you would be good to explain what .net is?

Haha, does no one know what it is? Basically the .NET I was referring to is Microsoft's .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET etc..). I'm not referring to the hype but the new framework for programming in Windows. The class library the new C# and VB.NET language.
Basically the forum I was suggesting would cover technical questions regarding the .NET class library and/or .NET language (VB.NET and C#) questions.
A lot of people think it's hype, but believe me...the majoriy of people who say that haven't used it and/or don't know what it is. Those who use it everyday at work *know* how useful it is. Anyhow...I'm not trying to peddle any good here..=) Just thought it'd be a good place for technical discussions.

.NET is really cool stuff. I think the forum would be great.
I don't know if you would have any personal interest in it, but I think that a vast majority of computer junkies would love it.
What Is .NET? (http://www.microsoft.com/net/basics/)

Yup, I think a .net forum would be great, as well as a free software (linux/bsd) forum. Course, straight c and c++ and java is being ignored here :) Maybe split the computer related forums into regular and advanced?
