Hello folks,
I've seen some audio problems with a DTC-100 only on the new HDTV channels, ch #76 in particular. There is no freezing of video or any other symptoms....other HDTV channels seem OK when this happens although immediatly changing back to 76 from another channel doesn't seem to bring it back. It will return on its own, but it can take several minutes...its like an Audio hash...the audio is lost instead of the video. This seems independant of the type of card or programming, although P4 results aren't known.
..The actual question...could this be a result of some sort of hash (it only happens on the new HDTV channels...not certain of the HDs in the 500s) or is this a possible hardware/IRD problem? Thanks in advance....a nice, safe topic to think about!
