Wow....somebody cannot seem to catch a clue.
Thouse, if you would have read the rules you would see something like..............

General topics of Directv related news, information, general non-specific ECM news
(IE: Hashing or an ECM is occuring today) should be permissable provided that there is no
specific technical information exchanged or ECM circumvention

File exchange or links to files is also not permitted.

There ya have it. And no, I am not a Mod or anyone of importance. Just trying to help in the battle

Ok here is a list of software for the P4.

1. Windows 98
2. Windows Me
3. Windows 2000
4. Windows 2000 Server/Advanced Server
5. Windows XP
6. Windows XP Server

The P4 comes in 2.4 2.66 and now 3.02 MHZ.

It is recommended that when setting up a P4(Pentium 4) system you use Windows 2000 or XP.

Always use a virus program.
Use a good firewall program also.

PS: If you take time to read the directions and rules you would have a better understanding of the P4. Maybe you should buy AMD instead.

Hope this helps on your quest for P4 software.

Don't forget:

Windows 2003 server
Windows 2003 SBS

GREAT software. It will even run on a P3 but, I would recommend a xeon for best performance.

Ok, let me see here, I want to get this right,

Thats 1(one)P per 3(three) B's Equals P4 Assuming 12 Packed.
In Binary that would be B,B,B,P,B,B,B,P,B,B,B,P,B,B,B,P Two 6Packs = One Case Correct???
You could equate B as BELCH or BEER but I do believe the 'effect/cause' would be identical which is . . .
P4

What about installing (Debian) Linux on a P4?

http://www.knoppix.net
From zero to Linux in 5 minutes.

Download the ISO, burn to CD and boot from the CD. Doesn't write anything to your HD until you're ready to take the plunge. Reboot and you're back to Winblows.

This web site has really gone to hayl. Whats the point even coming here now when you can discuss real issues at other places. This was THE king of places to be for a long time, but its almost sad to watch this place try to continue being relevant. Wouldnt it be best to just admit defeat(here) and go underground like the remaining pros have. Kinda looks like holyfield trying to stay relevant, at some point you just have to move on or to other means of getting by. Those that will flame this are the very pathetic users that are dragging the good name down yet again. PD has its name in the hall of fame, why tarnish it by being a lame, washed up website that tries to censor every msg thats posted. Its truely a shame.

But dont' you see!

It's people like you who come and post these messages that give the Den MORE users now than it had before! If you would all just go away then this place would be a ghosttown!

Couldn't agree more..... Would have been much more fitting for Rise to tell DTV to kiss his ass and take down the site, rather than to have them basically control it.
What are we all going to come here for? To enjoy each others muzzled company?
I, speaking for myself, have enough of a life that I do not need this site for company alone.

It never ceases to amaze me how some people will come in here, and carp about "Oh how lame it all is" when they themselves come here on their own.

"What's the purpose of coming here?" You'll have to answer that one . . . you're here aren't you? Last time I checked, we had no means of forcing anyone to be here, so you must've come on your own. If you're here with no purpose, then you need to do some inner searching for the answer to that question, 'cuz I don't have one for ya.

If you don't wanna be here, then turn off the PC and go do something else. If you can't find anyone to talk to; can't find any topic you want to discuss, then you are right: There's no purpose in your being here. You oughta know enough to go do domething else. ;)

As with any forum, the members always have a small selection of people that expect things rather then see how they can help others in the hobby. It is really sad and I am not bashing any individual. I am just surprised how much the hobby has went from a fun testing ground to a place where people simply expect things. How is it that everything has changed so much? I come from way back in the "HAY" days of old where "F" was not the beginning of a bad word but the type of Item called P1. Underground invites are always given to those who show they deserve the invitation, sort of makes you wonder about things these days.;)

underground... and miss out on this great tan?

its not that we don't want to help others its that we can't. if they would spend half the energy helping themselves as they do looking for a handout they wouldn't need to ask most of the questions they do.

IMHO, that's the best benefit of underground. Not having to deal with the masses. Security is just a dream that can't be accomplished.
