Good one! Could have broadened the search a little though and included John Deere. I did not even look at the site, but I presume it is what it sounds like it must be.

Lots of first posters asking for newb info coming here ever since the site came back up. Funny though, before most new people were told to shy away from here because the main crowd didn't take kindly to newbs....now they seem to be coming en masse.
Honest to god, I think it's Dave trying to get us to slip up.

Good one guys. What about ASV? They make an awesome Loader too. Heck I think they are even made in Canada, (partially owned by Polaris).

Me thinks our new newbee thinks we are a bunch of turkeys and has no interest in discussing this matter any further.

If you ordered that model drawbar, you should also order 2 extra teeth. The 963 has enough power to pull all 5 with no probs.

actually, there are a number of companies that specialize in mining top and bucket loaders. they hold up to 200 tons... a bit much for dave but it should do the job

That's some heavy hardware rob13572468!
Which loader do you prefer?
My first thought was the model SS 80 because of its power, but I really like the MW loader 10 for its stealth capabilities.

Many choices, I suppose Draggin's having a hard time deciding which model to choose.
Maybe Draggin's is in the do it yourself mode and wants to constuct his/her own.

Draggin67,
First, there is a place that explains everything, it’s the very first post at the top of this discussion forum in the “Sticky”.
It's also excellent advice about going to the freedomfight sister site though. You will understand much more if you read those threads.
Second, believe me, no one is making fun of you or treating you with disrespect. I don’t post much but I’ve been around for some time, not an expert on anything, but I read and have read a lot. A lot of people here really, really KNOW what they are doing. The responses you got are just people having fun in a pretty turbulent time. Don’t take things so personal. Also, stick around. When all this is over, you will see a new DEN rise again (no pun intended Rise).

Is it too late to add to this 2 year old topic?
Many of Caterpillar's machines can be configured online at http://buildandquote.cat.com. This site also has prices (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail) and the ability to request a quote straight from a Caterpillar dealer.
