Wink updates on DST 3000

I have recently purchased a DST 3000 Hi Def Reciever.....

I am assuming the firmware to be original.....If I put it into the stream.....

Does this IRD recieve the latest firmware update....or for that matter....is there a firmware update from Direct TV in the stream....

I recieved an HU card with the unit.....Will Direct TV be sending me a new P4 upon sign up?

It would be a hassle to wait for a new card when I already have HU....

But yes, Dave will send you a P4 when you sub. He doesn't sub P3's anymore as they're trying to phase those cards out.


Couldn't tell ya about the firmware update though, don't know myself...but I heard they don't come down consistently but only from time to time and not that often....that's just what I've heard though.
