I have a general question about my Phillips receiver. If I leave it on one channel for awhile and then try to change the channel it freezes. If I flip back and forth often it doesn't do it as much but still once in awhile. It's annoying to have to take out the card and unplug, re-plug, re-insert every time this happens. Any ideas?

Sounds like a receiver fault, hopefully it can be swapped out under warranty??
If not see if you can find the FACTORY reset for this model, another thing to try is the power source, try a line conditioner or filter, these receivers have a CPU that can lock up (just like your computer) if the power coming in is dirty or fluctuates.

Doe's it stick while changing the channels manually on the receiver, or is it just when using the remote control?
It may be possible that your remote is sticking.
Just a thought :)

I'll try the suggestions. I'm not sure if it's the remote or just the receiver so I'll check.
