I have a new Hughes DTV and a RCA 420 I am paying for the basic service with DirecTV for the DTV. I would like to still use my RCA 420 to watch the pay per views and pay channels. I know that I can use an a/b switch so that I can switch between both receivers but I need something that will let me use the audio/video cables for both. What can I use to do this?

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks

They make A/V switches 2 way, 3 way and 4 way, for ppl that only have 1 A/V input on their TV's but 3 or 4 devices (video game, DVD, VCR, camera, ect)
But check you TV some have A/V inputs on the front or you can use the "line 1" on your VCR as another input, or you can hook the ch.3 out of 1 sat to the ant in on the 2nd and just loop to the TV, so when you turn off the 2nd the 1st is on the TV.
In any event check out the satellite cable AB switch I have seen a few "smoke" when 18 volts are run through them, be careful.

Unless your TV has multiple composite Video and Audio jacks, your best bet is to buy a media hub from Radio Shack or Walmart or Circuit city. This is a small box that allows you to connect 5 or 6 different media devices (satellite, DVD, PS/2 Etc) to a single composite or composite/S-Video connection on your TV. They are fairly inexpensive, around $40 or less.
