hello everybody..

i'd like to know if anybody could help me clone a hard drive for my 7200
the hard drive that came with the unit does not work so i bought a 20 gig hard drive i've been reading some about cloning but i don't quite understand they talk about doing it with win2k,msdos or linux
i do have a 7200 that is working ok.. can i use that hard drive to clone the other one?

if anybody could show me the steps i would really appreciate it.

thanks..

Since this is a subbed unit we are talking about and Good old Charlie wont fix it without a herendous fee then it is very simple to swap a new drive out. Stay away from Samsug drives as they seem to be troublesome. Swap out your new Virgin drive and let the box dial out to MSN. It will update itself. Very simple with a new drive. Use common since with method. Now if its an old drive then its a little more complicated. Do a search on Yahoo it has all the info you need to get it going.

Yeah.
Get subbed - subscribed - thing is Charlie - is gonna start charging in fact is charging for the PVR (Paid video recording I call it) like $10 a month extra soooo....
-
Why does this matter? well thats what the extra HD is for right ? to record more programming?
-
CK is right though - you can use many programs to CLONE an drive and right in letting it take the update.
But as far as UNSUBSCRIBED DRIVE - I think it will still update - kinda like if you want WEBTV hehe >:)
Good Luck
-
WINIMAGE <--- for example is an image prgm etc....
