I have one of the new triple LNB dishes with built in multiswitch. Here is how I have everything setup in my house:
4 RG6 runs from satellite to central location in house
2 Rg6 runs from central location to 6 separate rooms in house (12 total)
I have 2 receivers set up (one in Living Room, one in bedroom)
and they are hooked up directly to the the satellite.
What I need/want to do is hook up the TV in kitchen and den to watch satellite. How/what is the best way to do this without a receiver?
Thanks for any/all help. This forum has been a great help to me in getting my dish hooked up!!!

I think it will also depend on whether one or both recievers have a rf type remote that alows you to control it from a different room...

You can use a DI-PLEXOR(you'll need 4 of them) to "backfeed" channel 3 from 1 receiver and channel 4 from the other receiver(set the switch on the back of the receiver or in the menu) to your "central location" using your existing satellite cable, then use a "Channel 3 combiner" to put ch3 and ch4 together on the same cable, you will then send that signal out to your other TVs(may need a small amplifier here), that way you'll have access to BOTH receivers on your TVs.
Channel changing can be done using Remote Extenders, sold at most Radio Shacks and Circuit City's.
I re-read your post and you said you have 2 rg6 runs to each room, so you won't need the di-plexors, just send the ch3 and ch4 signal back to the "central location" using the extra cables, then combine them.

Can I use a Directv Triple LNB satellite dish with built in multiswitch with Dish Network?
