Any of you guys save the peanut oil for later use when deep frying a Turkey. I know they sell pumps with fiters on them at the department stores. If so about how many times can it be used.
That stuff is High.:)

Hey CrownVic, you can reuse the oil until it is blackened in color or becomes very thick. After i am finished with the oil, i blend it with my diesel fuel and run it in the truck. So not much ever goes to waste around here LOL.

After you use the oil you can peel a potato and and put it in the oil.It will take out all the impurity out of the oil .

Yes..You have to buy a Tail pipe basket to put them in.
A 14 pound Turkey will have an internal breast temperature of 165f after a 4 hour drive. Chickens are best though, it only takes a 25 minute drive for a 5 pound chicken at 70mph. Baked potatoes can be done on the exhaust manifold,if you like the skin crispy then leave off the aluminium foil. This is also a better way to keep the air cleaner so everyone is happy..:)

actually i knew some guys doing opacity tests with various fuel blends of deisel, including peanut oil.
they called it "TURDEISEL" i swear !
some of the late model Cummins engines have a long life oil change system that drains engine oil into the fuel tank and then tops off the engine oil from a remote oil tank.

...not sure if this is completely true or not, but apparently the guy (Diesel) who invented the diesel engine originally designed it to run off of Vegetable oil, he wound up swimming with the fishies and 20 years later his engine was released using petroleum fuel instead of the vegetable oil.

LMFAO!, CrownVic you forgot to blend it with diesel before you run it in your truck! If you still get a trail of critters following you then run the top oil additive that i run in the dragster. It comes in bubble gum, popcorn, and cherry scent. 8 ounces treats 55 gallons so use it with caution. :)
