I know that the dish network and the BEV are picked up b ythe same reciever, therefore, is it possible to hook up a dish 500 to get dishnet and a dish to get BEV, so there is 2 satelites on the Dishnet and 1 satelite on the BEV. would you need an external switch to go back and forth between them, or can you split the two wires together into one cable and choose which satelite yuo wanna pic up throught he reciever?, any ideas, and has anyone tried this yet?
thanks in advance.

It would be easier to just run 2 separate systems.
ExpressVu uses sats. at 82deg and 91deg.
DishNet uses sats. at 110deg and 119deg.
That would be 1 LARGE oval dish that could pick up all 4 sats. 37deg arc, from 82deg to 119deg
So unless you want to run outside and repoint the dual sat dish each time you want to switch receivers, you'll need 2 dishes.
If you want to use the same receiver for both forget it they can't sub US receivers in Canada and visa versa, the receiver numbers are not in the data bases repectivly.
If you did find a way to sub 1 receiver to both, you will also have the problem of downloading a new channel map each time you switch from DishNet to ExpressVu and back again.
