Bush and/or his advisors are very smart. They will delay the the results of the investigation until after November and the CIA will get blamed any. Bush had a hard-on for Saddam since he walked into the whitehouse. He will walk away clean for lying to the world and sending those troops to be killed for a personal vendetta he has had with Saddam since his father was president. :R

Since the Roman/Ottoman empire (and before), civilizations have strived to be the worlds super power. Thats is mans instinct, animals instinct, to be the leader, and to be on top. I bet you would like to be the CEO or CFO of your company wouldnt you? I bet your not satisfied sitting in that 5'x5' cubical are you? Saddam Hussain has without question been one of the worlds most maniacal, disruptive, and deceptive leaders in recorded history. He has given awards up to and exceeding $25,000 to the families of suicide bombers from at least 3 different countries. He has personaly massacred hundreds of thousands of his own people (the Kurds) who tried lead a revolt to bring him from power. I could use up the rest of the available database here explaing how evil this man was and the potential evil he could have spread through out the world but some people just dont get it until it hits right in their back yard. The problem today is people dont wanna get their hands dirty anymore, does anyone here actually think given the opportunity that Saddam Hussain would not have done everything in his power to destroy the western civilization? There were a lot of people in 1940 who thought that war would never spread to the all mighty USA. Why should we interfere, this war is halfway around the world, it will never touch us. Then one Sunday in December of 1941 things changed real quick didnt they? Analogies dont do justice what is coming down the pike. We removed Saddam at the cost of 500 United States armed forces men and women so far, and im sure others will die too. If you look back in history at what this country has done and achived to stay in the position that it has, we are doing very well with this war. Hundreds of people have died in car accidents in the time it took me to type this response....should we ban cars...should we ban cigarrettes? of course not, why should we stop defending our rights as a country and a civilization? If and when we have another attack, people will complain that our administration didnt do enough to protect us, when thats what they are doing each and every day out there and dying for it. When you wake up tomorrow and read your paper that was printed because of our 1st amendment rights, then you go to your office and bitch about our president using your 1st amendment rights, then you go to some rally and march about how your not happy with the way this country is acting, using your 1st amendment rights.....remember all the men and women for the last 250 years that have fought and died so you could do just these things. Seems kind of ironic doesnt it?
Now please by all means, go ahead and slam me.

If you insist!
Car and cigarettes deaths are a matter of choice,(you don't have to drive or smoke) and we in no way were defending our rights or country by taking out Saddam.
America was lied to just to have an excuse to get revenge for Saddam threatening daddy's honor.
This is typical of Bush's (bring them on/don't mess with Texas) attitude.
You can bet that none of Bush's rich friends children will be paying for his attitude with their lives, of limbs.
Everyone agreed that Osamma was responsable for 911, so we take out Saddam, that makes a lot of sense.
Everyone would also agree that Saddam is not a nice guy, but it appears that he was abiding by the UN resolution
and got rid of his WMD's.
Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?
Not are we not only not better off, we, our children, and grandchildren will be a lot worse off for many years to come paying off the national debt that Bush & company have run up.
How many people do you know that have lost their jobs?
I could go on for hours, but I won't
As you may have figured out by now, I will not be voting for Bush!

That was a good try yet you failed (like most) to hit the major details.
Car and cigarettes deaths are a matter of choice,(you don't have to drive or smoke)
your right, ultimately everything in life is a choice. We dont have to go to war either, we can run to cananda or someplace else like many others did.
America was lied to just to have an excuse to get revenge for Saddam threatening daddy's honor.
man, you gus are so stuck on this its iritating......tell me with a straight face that you think someone could actually go into another country and risk hundreds or thousands of lives because of something someone said to his father....puleeeez. That is getting so old, get a new play book for Gods sake.
Everyone would also agree that Saddam is not a nice guy, but it appears that he was abiding by the UN resolution and got rid of his WMD's
UN resolution 1441...is the most promanant...look it up. There have also been 15 others that he has completely ignored. Im not gonna waste my time describing them...
UNSCR 678 - November 29, 1990
UNSCR 686 - March 2, 1991
UNSCR 687 - April 3, 1991
UNSCR 688 - April 5, 1991
UNSCR 707 - August 15, 1991
UNSCR 715 - October 11, 1991
UNSCR 949 - October 15, 1994
UNSCR 1051 - March 27, 1996
UNSCR 1060 - June 12, 1996
UNSCR 1115 - June 21, 1997
UNSCR 1134 - October 23, 1997
UNSCR 1137 - November 12, 1997
UNSCR 1154 - March 2, 1998
UNSCR 1194 - September 9, 1998
UNSCR 1205 - November 5, 1998
UNSCR 1284 - December 17, 1999
they are as simple as a google search. Answer this one....if he had nothing to hide, why not let the inspectors in? He evaded them since 1993, its a fact.
Everyone agreed that Osamma was responsable for 911, so we take out Saddam, that makes a lot of sense.
The last time i checked we still had over 40,000 troops in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan constintly searching for Ossama, relentlesly.
Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?
Absolutely! I am making more money, i have a better job, and i have a wonderful family.
How many people do you know that have lost their jobs?
I know a few, but you know what? they either have better jobs now, or they started their own business so now others will gain jobs working for them
As you may have figured out by now, I will not be voting for Bush!
Thats fine, that is your absolute right as an American of the United States.

Items you failed to comment on.....

You saying this can't happen again?

Saddam was unequivocally, a potential catalyst to terror (and a terrorist himself)in every way. By taking him out i am absolutely confident that we have saved more lives than anyone will ever know. There in lies the irony of doing what Bush did, he cant prove that it definately made a difference....however, the day that Saddam used his potential, Bush would have been labled a failure for not doing something when he had the chance.

That's what makes this country great, we can both express our opinion.
It's obvious we will never agree on these issues.
Like I said I could go on for hours, but I believe we would both be wasting our time and not change the others mind.
Take care Man
