Is there a way to get dishnetwork and directv on the same satalite and can you you directv dishes for dishnetwork.

yes you can get both from 1 elliptical dish

Yes, you can receive DISH Network programming through a DirecTV dish (with a DISH Net receiver) and visa-versa. But you can't receive DirecTV programming with a DISH Network receiver or vice-versa.

u can flash the chips in a 3800 model box to think it is 2 2700s and put bell vu and dish net on 1 reciever though.
