triple lnb dish

Installed new triple lnb dish with the built in switch from terk.
I had seen some where on the net that it could be connected to
direct and to dish. I have direct working but unable to get dish.
I think the dish is setup right because I can block lnb 110 and still get transponder 23 and up. This would mean that lnb 119 is set but
no signal on dish at 119. Do I need a cascadable switch or is there another problem??

1) The DTV dish uses a special SAT C LNB at the middle postion for the "3" DTV transponders on the 110 SAT. Therefore NO DiSH 110 SAT signal can be received.

2) DTV uses 22kHz tone to switch SATS while DiSH uses DiEsQ type signals. The DTV multiswitch defaults to the 101 SAT and will not switch to the 119 or 110 SAT using DiSH switching signals.

3) Placing a separate manually controlled 22kHz tone inserter in the cable between the DiSH IRD and the DTV multiswitch will allow you to get some 119 SAT transponders.
