Depends on what DTV dish you have, If it's a newer 3-lnb Oval with the multi-sw built onto the end of the arm (most ovals made in the past year or two are of this type) than NO, I'm afraid not.
If it's a single lnb Direct dish, then not really, because Dish relies on two satellites much more than DTV and you're going to need a second dish (or dual lnb dish) anyway.
Now, if it's an oval with seperate lnbs and multi-sw. You're in luck! Simply remove the Sat-C amp (if you have one) and put the Sat-A amp in the Sat-C position. Leave the Sat-B alone and all you need is some sort of Dish milti-switch and you're good-to-go ;)

Well, doesn't it figure that I have both the single LNB, and the multi-LNB with built in switch...in this case 2 out of 3 is bad.
Thanks for the response...much appreciated...BB

i am using a single LNB receiver that is currently pointing on the 101 directv satellite. If i was to redirect this 54" dish to sat 110 (I'm a little up north :), wouldnt this be able to receive transponders 1 Thru 27,29,31 for Dish Network. I realise that some channels would not be available as i would not be able to tune into SAt 119 but will redirecting my single LNB dish work when directed onto the 110 Sat.
thanks in advance

I have a question, I have 2 single directv dishes installed.
What do I need to do to get both 110 and 119 satellites on 2 receivers?

yes you can, you only need to put a double output LNB to each dish.
