Can some one tell me if I can use a model 3500 reciever and a card that has 288-01 in the bottom corner. What do I need to get this to work. I am new to this

If you call DishNetwork, they'll tell you what you need to do. I think that card is too old for them to activate. I believe there have been a few newer revisions since then . . . ;)

No if you're trying to access programming without paying, you need to do some reading, because it's been taboo to discuss those sorts of things on this site for some time now.
