Hi all,

I read some of the previous threads and none seemed to answer my questions.

I live in an apartment complex that has DTV service throughout each apartment. I have only one line coming into my place. The signal is a "satc" signal with all 3 sats (110,119,101). I get hd,locals,spanish...

I want to try dish on this line. From what I've heard so far is that I could get dish 119 from this signal by applying 22khz. Is this true, is there anything else I can do?

I do NOT have access to any of the lnb's or switches, just the signal that comes in to my place.

Thanks for all your help!

Yes you can do that, you'll need a 22khz tone generator(see below), Sat110 would NOT be available to your Dishnet IRD as the DTV LNB for that satellite uses a different frequency.

They are used alot in FTA (free-to-air) satellite systems, you should just call a local dealer tell them what you need and they will either have it or can order it in.
Or you could contact the above manufacturer, Eagle Aspen, and ask them who sells it in your area.
