I believe you need to hook up all wires because the hd is a seperate signal that is sent down with the regular digital signal.

so i decided to get HD. now..do i need to actually hook up all four wires in oreder for this dish to work or can i just plug in the 2 that i have from my old dual lnb? i cannot get any reception whatsoever. not even on the 101. i would understand the others because mybe where i had the old dish it doesn't have enough line of sight, but i am getting nothing..thank you in advance

Yes you must have them conected to the switch. The center lnb 110, is the one for hd on the eliptcal dtv dish. Also make sure your ird is set to the corect dish type in the setup menu.

so have to hook up all the wires..ok ...i only have two recievers...so how would one deal with that problem?
