I don't own one as i have a sub for direct and dish but, i have set many of them up for others.
The coolsat is alot less expensive, very user friendly guides and setup info, and should the firmware need to be updated, it is open source so it is available from many places instead of just the Korean crap manufacturers.
Good luck, and be careful of who you purchase from. There are alot of scammers around these days selling things they never deliver.

I own two fta receivers, coolsat 4000 pro and fortec lifetime ultra with a motorized 33" antenna, coolsat is very nice and easy to set up, however the fortec is also a good unit but not as user friendly.

I am having difficulty understanding which receivers I could use to receive these signals. Now I have a DSR 505 from SC, could I use that, along with the SC satellite dish? Must I buy BEV?
