I've set up several dishes, but my current residence has proven too difficult to conquer. We have huge trees all along the SW range - nearly two stories higher than the roof. So, my next option is Directv's mover connection. Do they have a "no job is too big" policy? Or will they tell me I'm out of luck..

Did you make arangements before you moved ? If you did you might have a leg to stand on, if they told you no problem.
If not, the movers connection only covers a "standard installation", in other words no wall fishing, no runs over 150', no pole mounts. Any extra work you will have to pay for. Sorry for the bad news but, 90% of the installers only get a flat $35 to $40 per standard install. Can't blame them for not wanting to lose money on difficult jobs.

No I haven't contacted them yet. I'd be willing to pay extra if it's reasonable, but now I'm thinking they'd have to put a 20-foot pole on my roof and that's probably not happening.

I suppose I need to figure out how to cut down branches that are 50 feet from ground level..
