Hi. i am installing my satelite or dish on the roof right, well with a motor. but i read that the pipe or pole must be vertical, but my pipe is not vertical, its like straight then a curve how ever you want to describe it, so do you think it will work??

and then my dish is kinda wierd because, its not like most other dishes, i mean its not easy to hook a motor to it, because, i would have to drill a spot of the motor pole so i could screw or like iton to the dish, because my dish i will show you what i mean. i'll upload pictures, and idon't this won't work, but i just wanted to give it a shot, and its hassle for me to go up the roof, especially with no ladder so i will post pictures up here, and let me now if it will work, i doubt it though

thanks alot i appreciate the help. and oh yah i got a coolsat pro4000 reciever, even though i haven't watch any channels yet with it, because my sat is not hooked cuz i am working with it, through the menu and every thing it looks hot

This are the pictures, I am really concerned about the mounting pole because its not straight, and the way the motor is hooked on it, so this are some pictures, and this system goes on my roof, so do you think this will work, thank you

If you are using the stock mounting bracket that comes with the dish, you need to make sure that the very top of the bracket, where you connect the rotor to it is both plumb and level. The curved part is not important, only where you connect up your dish.

Just get a small torpedo level, put it on the side of the bracket at the very top and once you are level, tighten the screws. Then put it on the top, check for plumb and tighten the mounting bolts once done to whatever you are attaching your bolts to.
