Been hearing alot of chat on the streets and some chat-rooms that DishNetwork will be taking those similar security measures that DirecTv did and finalize the life of piracy once and for all.
Now, we read Bell ExpressVu is swapping to shut down the piracy they've experienced.
For HOW LONG??
Any ways, what will come of the FTA receivers? No DishNet; no BEV; no DirecTv. YIKES!!

Going to have to find some new toys to play, I guess - eh!

Can you explain how this effects the FTA (Free to air) systems? Im just a newb with this and tired of paying through the nose and want to get a dozen or so channels that I know are available by antenaa but are just out of range and get better reception on those that are in range...

I've yet to purchase one of these systems and I wante to make sure I wont get stuck with another doorstop.
