I thought that this was perhaps normal until I later installed another dish at our cabin. That one gets perfect reception even in rain SO might anyone know why my home dish doesn't do as well?
I've checked and greased connections at the dish. Might it be just the water on the dish doing that and if so, would silicone spray or car wax possibly help? Just guessing.
The two dishes aren't the same. The home one's got one transponder and more round whereas the other's got 3 transponders and more oval.
