Here's my question.

I currently have a Dual LNB dish with only one cable fed thru the house to the TIVO receiver. I'd like to utilize the second connection from the dish for the other feed... Here's my question, do I need to run another cable from the dish all the way to the receiver or can I use the the existing cable with a splitter on the dish and a splitter one on the receiver?

Thanks!

Do you have a directvwith Tivo or a standalone unit? I assume its a dual tuner directv with Tivo?

If you have a dual LNBF and only 1 receiver, the best choice is to feed both lines to each tuner on the IRD.

If you have multiple receivers, you will have a satellite multiswitch, run a second line from the multiswitch to the 2nd tuner, just as you would have if you were installing another reciever
