Well, I was up and running with hackman running on both tivoweb 1 and tivoweb 1.9.4. I was editing a hackman file when I made a syntax error and hackman no longer started with tivoweb. The hackman docs recommend that I remove the hackman.ini file and allow it to re-build. The removal from my tivoweb 1 directories went without a hitch but the hackman.ini file running with tivoweb 1.9.4 at /ptvupgrade/tivoweb194/modules will not all me to remove the file.
rm: remove 'hackman.ini' , overriding mode 0644? y
rm hackman.ini: Read-only file system
Now, there was a time when I could get through these things without much help but since I locked my Dtivo SAT t60 down several years ago in "leave-alone running with all hacks" state, I have aquired Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. A Brutal disease that rquires masive neurotics to put my nervous system into an "un-adgitated" state. My reasoning process is now in a drug induced disarray.
My HD died in the T60 and I am up and running with a new 300gb that has taken my altered brain 3 weeks to get back into shape. Slow...but I am proud that I got the thing this far. One syntax error and I am toast. It is with great regret that I must admit that I am lost and cannot follow a productive path to the "Read Only" problem. I throw myself at the mercy of those with clear thinkers! I now relunctantly cry.......HELP!!
