I had been having problems with my Hughes Directv Tivo 120gig receiver.
It would 'freeze' up during play, just for about half a second, but it would come and go, sometimes so bad I had to turn off the TV and do something else.
I deleted some movies, thinking the hard drive was getting a bit full. That didn't work. I decided to do a reset only to clear programming... not a total reset.
The screen said it may take up to an hour. I went to bed, the next day I turned the TV on and the same screen was still there, the record LED was flashing. I dropped power & it started up normally then the same screen popped up again. Has anyone ever seen this before?
