I have 2 receivers, a DVR508 and a DP311. Can I connect both receivers to the DishproPlus dual LNB via a single cable with a separator?

I have a Dishpro Plus twin LNB. I know that you can connect to a dual tuner receiver with a sigle cable using a seperator, but can you also connect 2 independant receivers (DVR508 & DP311) at the same time with a single cable using a seperator? I know the receiver supplies power to the LNB so I want to be sure that I won't damage the receivers by hooking up both at the same time (to the same cable). My reason for asking is that my cable is buried below my driveway and it would be difficult to run a second cable from the house to the dish.

no you need to connect 2 lines the lines actually carry current from the dish to your reciver.a splitter will not carry voltage only a signal. so you need to run 2 lines 1 to each reciver
