How do I unlock my DVR508?

I forgot my parental controls password. I did a search and come up with the following procedure from another thread, but it doesn't seem to work for my DVR508 ;

" Menu, 6,3, info, right arrow, left arrow, TV/Video.
It will reset everything remember to unplug after and plug in again "

Anyone know how I can reset the password protection?

menu, 6, 3, info, browse, theme, tv/video and then power off

If that does not work, a quick call to dish asking them to reset your password will get you fixed up
