View Full Version : annoying IDs and logos/announcers

:( I just received Sirius for Christmas(2005)- Why do they have so many annoying station identifiers/"logos"? The channel number and name are already displayed on the receiver! Announcers? I don't want to hear them! I am used to driving with my iPod or listening to a good noncommercial FM station which entails hours of uninterrupted music.
Leave the station promos and chatting DJs to the poor slobs that are stuck listening to terrestial radio stations. I like to think I'm paying for a delivery system and music(programming), please don't lessen the experience.

I agree! I got one for Christmas too and am finding some stations (like one of the comedy ones) have just as many commercials as "regular" radio.

Maybe we should start the insurrection. When I get time, I'm going to call every "DJ" that displays their number and tell them I signed up for music/entertainment not mindless filler. According to Arlo Guthrie, if three people do it it will be a movement.
