Hey guys.

I posted before in this forum asking for help and luckily i got the help i needed when i upgraded my DirecTIVO DSR6000's Harddrive.

I now have the problem of running out of space and not wanting to delete certain recorded programs..

So now i need to find out how to transfer the files over to my PC Harddrive.

Can anyone either:

1). Point me to a tutorial which applies to my problem (and if it'll also be applicable with use with my DSR6000)

or

2.) Point me to other options (i.e. connecting a cable to my DSR6000 to transfer the files without having to take the HD out again).

Any help you guys could provide would be appreciated.

FYI: I think i have the latest 252xtreme Image burnt to my DSR6000 HD. If you need to know i can check the version i have burnt just let me know and i'll check (though you might have to give me instructions on where to find that version #).

The only way with your model is to archive them as you did during the backup procedure Directivos do not have a show sending feature

I don't think ever did a backup procedure... I just d/led the image of my DSR6000 and updated it with the extreme upgrades to a brand new harddrive which i bought..

Would i be able to transfer the files over to my PC if i connect my TIVO HD to my computer and boot up in MSFTOOLS (or some other app?). I have plenty of space on one of my PC Harddrives which i'd be able to transfer/copy over the recorded programs to..

And if that way i described is possible, is there a tutorial that explains how to do this?

FYI: I also made sure when i first booted up my TIVO to select the option to have the programs record DESCRAMBLED.
