I had the s50 installed in my '05 9-3. I have an input in my armrest for a small headphones plug. I connect this from the line out in the back of the dock with a double sided headphones wire. (much better signal than the fm antenna). I picked up the car from Worst Buy and I had this ticking when i would listen to the satellite radio. In addition, I'm getting alternator wind. I have had my car back in to have the power wire hardwired (before it ran through the cigarette lighter). This still didn't help. I unplugged the antenna from the back of the dock and i still got the interfernece. I swapped the wire out that runs to the input, still no luck. So now i'm thinking it's the input in my car. However, when i plug an ipod or take the s50 out of the dock and plug the input wire into the headphones plug, it's clear as a bell. So it seems like the input is ok. After Best Buy and Saab looking at it with no luck i returned the unit and dock. They just swapped out what i needed w/o unistalling everything. I still get the interference. Can anyone help???
