Yes Marty ,

I bought an XM tuner quite a while back and never got off the ground. Sirius tuner hooked up to my pioneer car radio is rocking. Now I have to buy more gas 'cause I dirve around just to spend time listening. It is addictive.

The reception is quite strong too. The only ones that do not sound clear are the comedy ones. seems to have poor sounds or maybe its my ears. Music, NBA, News are all loud and clear here in Jamaica.

According to Sirius management....you should be able to receive Sirius up to 200 air miles outside of the continental United States. Congrats on the strength of anything outside of that!!!!!

I get good reception in Grand Cayman, only occasional dropouts passing through trees and where blocked by buildings. I know at least one bar that gets reception.

Anyone ever tried to bring a sirius unit in east caribbean or know someone who has ? I'm looking to buy this for my mother who spends 2-3 months there during cold canadian winter, she is a Radio Canada junky...don't want to buy the whole thing if I'M not 100% sure it'll work.
