Frontmed.....
How come you did not create another new alias for this post?????
What does it mean?????
I will educate you.
It is a list of analysts that have a history of putting together
accurate forcasts for the equity.
It is that plain and that simple.......Nothing to Roll on the floor and
laugh about. It is simply information that someone following sirius
should be aware of.
If an analyst has a track record of calling the shots correctly, then
that is something a prudent investor would want to know.
So, you can roll on the floor if you like.....in fact, you can roll on
the floor with all 17 of your aliases and have an orgy for all I care.
Perhaps that is somrthing that O & A could use to spice up their show.
So, to put into summary:
1. The list is made up of the analysts that follow Sirius, and have
exhibited a certain level of accuracy with regard to their earnings
estimates.
2. You seem to feel that knowing which analysts have an accurate track
record does not matter.
3. You and 17 other aliases are now in the midst of an orgy.
I think that about sums it up

You're kind of touchy.
New NPD figures must be out, huh?

Frontmed....
Not touchy at all.
You asked a question, with yet another new name, and I answered it.
Why is it that you are finding the need to create a whole host of
names? What is it you are trying to hide from?
NPD is just fine for January. The last week was down as compared to
the first three weeks, but that was due to inventory. The telling sign
is that even without having inventory, Sirius still outdid XM.
First week in Feb is a bit off as well, but nothing to worry about from
a Sirius perspective.
Your dream seeing a 60/40 split in favor of XM simply will not happen.
Even the ones they will be giving away to Circuit City and Best Buy
employess will not help XM.
The world Series is not until October......Mabey they will have some
big Opening day give-aways for MLB.

Please list all 17 aliases, otherwise the rest of us should consider you
a liar/exaggerator. Twist and spin it as you will, 3 vs 17 only shows
you word means nothing here.

Don't get balled up about it. Everyone here knows which posts are from me.
Just think of it as a way for me to honor great computer scientists ;)

It is nothing to worry about; however, it does suggest [strongly] that the
"Stern Effect" *IS* a one-quarter event. As the new XM hardware comes out,
Oprah's channel starts to heat up a bit, MLB season takes off, etc., Sirius
will see its retail share slide.

I don't know about 60/40. But I do believe it will be back into that range
(perhaps 65/35 some quarters) -- and as XM's OEM exclusives start to take
hold at year end, the total market share really will trend heavily toward
XM.
I'm not sure what you're thinking -- I guess you think that Sirius is going
to hang on to its recent retail share gains even after all the Stern minions
have followed him. That just isn't being realistic.
Apparently, you don't agree that a 60/40 (XM) retail share is likely. What
are you thinking it will be? 50/50? 40/60?

It doesn'treally matter as XM is apparently unable to monetize their
big bad quasiexclusive deals.

The new names are comming up quite quickly
We have Frontmed
We Have the Leg_breaker

Frontmed has already stated that he will be/has created a whole list of
aliases.
Ask yourself why someone would do this.

You love spouting this BS. The surge of those who signed up specifically to
hear Stern will obviously taper off. The rate of new subscriptions will
slow. That's not in question.
Your continued assertion that the "Stern Effect" is over is laughable, at
best. The Stern Effect will be over when he decides to stop broadcasting.

Exactly what I've been saying. Others here are claiming that these retail
share gains are permanent. I say bull----.

The Stern Effect is essentially over. He is, at this point, preaching to
the converted, has a much smaller audience -- maybe 1/6 of his previous
audience, scarcely more than Opie & Anthony have, and just doesn't have the
drawing power he had when he was on free radio.
When he has an audience as small as O&A, he simply isn't going to be able to
keep getting better guests. Meanwhile, O&A are putting on people like Dale
Earnhardt Jr & Jimme Johnson.
Why, I wouldn't be surprised if Dylan turned up on O&A in a few weeks...

You continue to be the most delusional cheerleader on the squad. The
initial Stern pop resulted in at minimum 800,000 hard core fanatics
who, while subbing for Stern at first, have now been dazzled by the
rest of the lineup. Not unlike otherl SDARS nubies they will sell the
Dog like there's no tomrrow.
These are prime radio consumers; the K-Rockers and the X one-oh-wow
crowd. Not blue hairs who never stray from the local AM nostalgia
station.
If Dylan shows up on Dopey and Stupid, it'll be because he made a
wrong turn looking for a good place to get high.

Perhaps 800K. But they are no more "dazzled" with Sirius than XM devotees
are to XM -- and there are a hell of lot more XMers than Sirius listeners.

At this point, women are looking like a pretty important demo on SDARS, and
Sirius has nothing for them.

I don't know about that; they had Dale Jr & Jimmie Johnson on a couple days
ago. They're pretty big, right?

Fowler.....
Lets see:
Dray
Timecalc
Bolo
trucky
and I have not even touched all of the aliases he has used on sirius
backstage.
So, now that we have estblished that this is not an exageration.......I
must ask you....
Why would someone find the need not only to post under multiple
aliases, but to even answer their own posts with other aliases.
Perhaps you can come up with a good reason.....but I highly doubt it

Admiral....
Yet another frontmed alias.....
Fowler, what is your opinion on this????
Programming for women admiral.....
Martha, Lime, Cosmo., and many other things......You need to do a
little homework.
You may also look at the spanish language comparison and the other
languages.
Sirius has a MASSIVE content advantage.....This is why consumers with a
choice choose sirius

Please don't put words in my mouth. I never said anything about retail
share and we are not agreeing. I was referring to the fact that you always
claim the Stern Effect is over. It ain't. All I said was that the big rush
for those who wanted to sign up exclusively for Howard will taper off. He
will continue to draw in new listeners, however.

The Stern Effect is, essentially, over. Yes, there are stragglers. But the
millions upon millions you all thought would follow him just didn't do it.
Sirius would have ended the year at 800K (according to Doberman, they would
have made it to 1,000,000 last year without him) without Stern last year.
You have to think they would have added more than a million in '05 without
Stern. So, at best, Stern brought 1.5M, and probably more like a million.
If the millions were going to show up, there should have been a 4,000,000
subscriber announcement by now. There hasn't been.
It is over.
> Says who? You? I think we've established your lack of credibility here.
Yes, says me. My credibility is not in question by thinking people. By
people who think with their Stern-encrusted -----s, perhaps.

LOL. It figures.
