As a newbie fan of XM, I have encountered a problem using the Delphi MyFi
that concerns me. My unit is now out of its 30 day window, so I suppose I'm
out of luck trying to get it repaired. I did however email tech support, and
tried their sugguestions, but the problem continues.
When using the unit live either at home or work, no problems. I have it set
up to record XM6 for five hours overnight everynight, and use it
occasionally at work or in the car.
When playing it back, it only has one or two hours of audio, and many times
as it approaches the top of the hours recording, it drops half a song. I
thought it was corrupt memory, and reset the radio, and or removed battery,
only to have similar occurances in a day or two.
Now on my recorded segments, the playback will stop. There is no playlist
listed in my recordings when this occurs, however the play continues working
properly when a song has been skipped or hacked in pieces.
Is anyone else have similar problems. I am using a new white battery, and
its fine. I ran it completely down today at work (5 hours) and recharged it
while listening to live signals.
Anyone have sugguestions? As usual, Thanks for any input you have. John
