I have a Dish 500 with a Dish Pro Quad LNBF. I have two feeds to a 322 and one to a 311. I am trying to add a 811 at the same location as the 322 and would like to avoid installing another RG6 run. Is it possible to install a DP34 switch at that location, and would the other outputs work as normal?

yes that should work just fine, but why are you putting a 811 in since the release of the ViP series (211, 622) the 811 is out of date 811 is a mpeg2 rcvr all HD channels are now mpeg4 so you need a 211 or 622, now if you don't care about getting the new HD channels or any other ones that are comming out then your fine with the 811

actually, I just want to use the 811 for off the air stations. I bought it last year off ebay and never installed it, now Dish will not let me have the old HD package. I did find a lot of good installation info at www.solidsignal.com/dishpro_installation.asp
Thank You for the response!
