wireless antenae

We just got sirius and live in a ranch house. We could not get any bars for antenae direction anywhere in the house. We finally got enough signal strength by running the antenae out the door and tossing it on the roof. For now everything is fine but obviously this can't stay this way.

Is there a wireless antenae that we can put on the roof that would transmit the signal to the reciever without us having to find a place to drill a hole in the wall or slam a window (or door) on the wire.

I don't know about wireless, but I bought the 50 extension antenna which is for indoor/outdoor use.
My problem, however, is that the unit will not read the antenna.
