As much as I hate to admit it, 'cause I'm a Stern fan......Mark's Friggin'
would probably be a fairly good statistical indicator.

Bottom line on Stern is this though.......he's doing some of the funniest
shows he's done in a long time. If anybody has a chance of making
satellite radio successful.....it's Howard. I really hope he pulls if off.
But I won't be buying any Sirius equipment or subscribing if Howard will
be off on Friday's. I consider that a huge rip-off. Or as they say in
radio advertising......there's no "added value" there!

He was supposed to start taking Friday off right away but they BEGGED
him not to. Becuase fans KNOW it is lazy and dishonest. Howie knows
it too.

Also remember that there was supposedly going to be a lot more original
content on the channels right from the start in addition to Stern and
Bubba's show with the assumption being that there'd also be a lot more
professional broadcasters doing shows as well. Now there's just Stern
and Bubba as the only shows with professional broadcasters on them, a
news show about Howard that Howard's been pissed at since they announced
the price of some necklace he bought BethO, the Stern show wrapup show,
the Friday show, and various reruns and tryouts of different talent here
and there.

Not quite what you'd think you'd get from a guy who lost so much sleep
over the number of ideas he was getting.
