View Full Version : The Pests Nail Hoohoo Again!

After taping an appearance on THE LATE SHOW, Howard Stern tries to leave the
Ed Sullivan theater, but is flanked by a mob of sign/banner toting Opie and
Anthony pests... Aggravated and pestered, he speeds away in his limo, which
of course, has been adorned with a WOW sticker.

Did O & A show up and (once again) publically disassociate themselves with
"The Cunning Linguist" and openly call him ("The Cunning Linguist") a
complete, total, & useless douchebag?

This is a nice demo of how insane ----y is. Examples:
"...Stern tries to leave..." He didn't TRY to leave, he left.
"...aggravated and pestered..." How could he possibly know that?
Howard could have just as easily been amused (I know that I would have
been).
"...speeds away in his limo..." What would he have done if nobody was
outside? Slept on the sidewalk?
Here's another report of what happened, slanted in the opposite
direction (and common sense would dictate it is more accurate).
After taping an appearance on THE LATE SHOW, Howard Stern left the Ed
Sullivan theater, where a group of Opie and Anthony "pests", some
holding signs or banners ...Seemingly disinterested, he reportedly got
into his limo, which then drove away. The limo apparently has been
adorned with a WOW sticker. And although it could not be confirmed, it
was assumed that the door to the limo was open before Mr. Stern got it.
Report has not come back yet as to whether the limo was already
running, or whether the engine was started after Mr. Stern entered.

The difference between your description and the video are shocking. I
read your post, thinking, damn, they nailed Stern... Then I actually
watched the video and see it's the same 5 guys from the last stalker
video and their gay uncles with their beautifully XM branded anti-Howard
signs. Hopefully you guys are getting paid for these appearances to help
shed some of the embarrassment you must suffer.
Watching 6 fat guys and one starving kid chasing the limo down the
street is priceless. Nice mob.
Maybe Letterman can have you guys on for Stupid Animal Tricks!
Aaaaaaaaahahahahaha! Rock on!

Geez, talk about nerdy, uncool looking dweebs. It would have been
interesting to have seen some of their placards "mistakenly" caught
by Howard's limo's mirrors........as a crazed Ronnie Mund floored it to
get his "boff" quickly to the door of "Scores".......bloodied O & A fans
being dragged through the streets screaming for their mommies and the
comfort of their basements where they live........

Yes, that is one of the points. The OA pests are wasting their time
trying to bother Stern fans. Their own heros are creeped out by their
exploits. They cannot support a lousy show, so they turn their weak
mental capacity and diabetic energy to bash a successful one.
Can someone please tell me where OA's top 25 moments are published?
Where is their national media attention? Two best selling books? 100
million dollar grossing movie (after dvd and vhs sales and rentals)?
Number one rated show in NYC and Philly for almost 20 years. You can't.
It is late in their career and they cannot use youth as an excuse. They
did manage to get a gag order slapped on them after they spread vicious
lies about Howard's minor daughter. That should count for something.

From what I saw on the video, the O&A fans really bothered one of the
stern fans. The other stern fan was only a little bit annoyed.

It is pretty funny how these guys are completely out of their mind. :)
The fact that this chucklehead keeps posting about how they "ambushed"
ir "nailed" Stern all the while ignoring how pathetic the "army" looks
on the video... almost makes me think that the guy is actually a Stern
fan. :)

Please use the space below to show me the correlation between national
media exposure and the end of Howard's career:
If that is the case, O&A nevr had a carreer, except for the two minutes
where they were getting launched for the church stunt.
Thank you!

Wrong.
I am a Sirius subscriber, a Stern listener, and a casual Letterman fan. I
wasn't aware Stern was going to be on Letterman until last Friday, 3/10. Do
you think it's possible that other people may not have known about it?
Add the fact that Stern, who is a master of promotion, has a much smaller
audience now than he did previously, it's easy to see why he might not have
generated enough buzz to catapult Letterman past Leno in the ratings.
Doesn't Leno regularly beat Letterman anyway?
HTH.

Here is the impression I got from the 8 or 9 O&A goofballs:
"Look at me, Daddy! Love me, Daddy! Please pay attention to me,
Daddy! If you don't look at me and love me, Daddy, I'm going to chase
you down the street until you love me, Daddy! Oh Daddy, why don't you

I was thinking the same thing. A bunch of tourists who saw a limo... And
6-8 idiots with flea market signs claiming the unsuspecting tourists as

I would be willing to bet that if Howard ever talked to those guys,

I'm just making sure the new readers are aware of the difference. Now
that noper has decided to post as CL, I feel it is more important than
ever to point out the difference to the new readers. Besides, why ask
me? He's the one on your team, for lack of a better word.

Funny, it doesn't seem to bother you when it's people who like Howard
getting spoofed. Where were you when Emu and Doody spoofed me? Where
are you when this idiot is spoofing Buzzer? You know, you have a bad
enough rep on here by the mere act of liking O&A. Maybe it would be a
good idea not to be a hypocrite. Maybe you should expose all the
spoofers in the same way.

That may be the best entertainment value to come out of the Opie &
Anthony show yet. Imagine a guy the size of Artie briskly waddling
down a street holding up a sign to nobody.
(Cancelled my streaming XM Online subscription a few days back, BTW. I
tried and tried and tried off and on for 3 months to find anything
funny on O&A, and gave up. The crickets chirping for 45 seconds in
their day-after-Oscar interview said it all, the only humor value being
in the fact that the show itself was so pathetic.)

By now little drummer boy has realized what i was saying had absolutely
positively nothing to do with grammar, that he was being VERY stupid
for thinking so, and has disappeared.
Thanks for taking his place and giving me the chance to laugh again at
the misuderstanding.
LOL.
OK, on to the next moron...

Nope....I don't act like a net cop nor do I act like one. If I did, I

That video of the Opie Army is the funniest goddamn thing I have ever seen.
Seriously, I laughed out loud and my girlfriend had to come and look over
my shoulder to see what I was looking at. "Who are those guys?" "Those
are guys who listen to some radio show and they go wherever Stern goes and
wave those signs. "Why?" "Well, they really like this Opie guy who used
to do a radio show but got thrown off the air. They call themselves the
Opie Army and do this stuff all the time." "Get out." "No, seriously."
"God, what losers."
I swear to Baby Jesus that's exactly the way the conversation went down.
My girlfriend hates Stern, too, because she just doesn't understand the
charm of ---- jokes and Wendy the Retard, but the idea that a bunch of sad
clowns dedicate their lives to their favorite radio show and call
themselves an "army" and live to stand outside of events that a DIFFERENT
radio show's host goes to, just to wave signs and videotape themselves, is
kind of pathetic. I guess it's a good thing that they've got something to
do, though. It can't be easy going through life looking like they do.
I bet being in the Opie Army is a sure way to get chicks, though. Don't
you think?

Ok....that's fine. You are not a pest. And you readily post a link to
gay porn. The link, as far as I can tell, does not imply gay porn yet
you are aware of it. Hmmmm. I take it back. I don't wonder how you
knew about it. I only wonder if you knew this site or if you had to
look in your favorites.

To be fair, that was pretty low quality for one of there shows. I listen to
them every day, and I thought that particular show was tired myself. To each
their own I guess.
