As the reports have stated.......O & A will be politely "asked" to leave
XM soon. They've been a huge performance and financial disappointment to
Hugh Panero, and are now considered a liability. Panero thinks of
having them as "Throwing good money after bad."

Ok clown, suppose O&A leave XM or even get fired. Big ----. Stern is the big
story because he has single handidly destroyed Sirius Satellite radio and is
widely hated and not listened to.

Personally, I love listening to Stern. If you don't dig his act, dats
cool. Not everybody is bright enough to be able to enjoy and appreciate
Stern. I'm sure you'll be very happy with your continually repeating
collection of Jeff Foxworthy CD's. "You might be a dumb redneck if you
don't get Stern......"

Come October, Hugh Panero will make damn sure that there will be no new
contract offered. "The Boys" will courteously be given a few months notice
that their contract will not be extended. They'll find a job
somewhere......most likely a medium market between size 50 and
100......landing where their talent is appropriate. They got a big break
in New York and blew it. They'll never again work in a market nearly as
large. They just aren't very good. Not everybody can be great. "The Boys"
gave it a go, but weren't successful. As Joan Rivers says, "Talent Will
Out".....or in the case of "The Boys"......"Lack of Talent Will Fall to
Its Appropriate Level."

Wrong. Why assert this nonsense as fact when you have no clue what is
going on.
What will you do when this DOES NOT happen ? Why wait till October to
get rid of them ? Why did they renew last time ?

Maybe stern should hire the Greaseman. That's funny. I've heard Lauryn
Hill. Maybe the Greaseman should not have said it on terrestrial
radio, but that was funny.

Well, ----, feel free to educate the outsiders. It's easy to say that

"The Boys" (The Middle Aged Men's) contract is up in October. Hugh Panero
wants 'em out of there as of today. Their replacements are getting ready.
Hugh will try to get them to politely leave early, and he'll get more
aggressive if they don't play ball. XM looks at O & A as a liability.
Money down the tubes. Money that could have been spent much more
effectively on genuine talent. O & A's whole act is how much they hate
Stern. Not much of an act. The act is old. "The Boys" are middle-aged and
not particularly hip or funny. They're goners. Bye-Bye "Boys".

I give them to the end of their contract. I won't bet because I know
you won't honor it.

Yes he did. He yelled while running at full gallup to his psychiatrist's
office. XM is SO fucked up now and they've blown it so badly, that now
they've got to cut out the wasteful crap. Everyone knows O & A's act is
old and unimaginative, and that they're goners. Bottom line = "They're

Besides being a somewhat humorous observation......it's actually quite
deep and quite true. It bears repeating:
"THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STERN AND O & A, IS THAT STERN IS LOVED AND O & A
ARE HATED."

It's so easy to be a critic and tear down without offering up
positive solutions. Especially when one has "never worked in the bigs." My
point is that Hoody's offerings are nearly worthless. Sometimes he's
interesting and thought provoking.....but not often. Not often at all.
Most would characterize his scribblings as pointless, angry,
non-constructive pap born out of working a minimum wage job and living in
his mommy's basement.

OK, now that I fixed your top posted reply, first off, how the fuck do
I know you're a straight up guy? Second of all, I couldn't give a

Sapper, can I let you in on a secret? This revolution stuff? It's an
advertising slogan. While I feel that there are many aspects of the
Howard channels that are, indeed, revolutionary (the news, allowing
fans and interns to have their own show, actual therapy sessions, Red
Peters, live --- acts), nobody was expecting Howard's show to
fundamentally change, and nobody's expecting to see fireworks shooting
out and holographs dancing through the air.

I knew about your secret and I'm not an insider. He is doing the same
stuff he had been doing. Only now, people have to pay for it. I have a
feeling that some of the revolutionary stuff you listed are on the
channel because he is having trouble finding people less entertaining
than he is. Anyone more entertaining would take some of the spotlight
away from him. He hit the nail on the head on Letterman when he said
the lawsuit was a good thing because it put him back in the news. He
said that people were starting to forget about him.

First of all, suck my cock. I've never said or done anything here to
suggest I'm not honorable.
Second, I'd be happy to put our bet in escrow with some service. Whaddya
say - a hundred bucks, just for fun? I win when they're on the air after
the end of October.
Whaddya say?

Actually, What's been on Howard 100 and 101 in the last three months is
pretty revolutionary. It's unlike any radio show in history, and has
captured a lot of media attention, not to mention 3.3 million listeners.
When you realize that a hit cable show has maybe 3 million viewers, you
realize just how big a deal that is. Stern has taken Sirius from an also-
ran to being synonymous with Satellite Radio. Most people don't even say
"Satellite Radio" any more, they just say "Sirius".
Clearly, this will end up with XM and Sirius merging. When that happens,
where will Opie end up in the scheme of things?
C ya.

Right, considering how they "failed" on the premium, why did XM renew them-
let alone putting them on the love stream, AOL, DirectTV, and XM Canada?
Yeah, sounds like they are real disappointed in the boys
