Well XM has finally admitted the truth....their music channels have commercials! XM apparently reached an agreement a few years back with CBS that allows their "commercial free" music stations to air "promos" and "product announcements." AKA, they sold out for commercials. Im not sure even third world countries would say that "product announcements" aren't commercials... Not sure if we can post links here, but just do a google search for "XM commercials" and you'll find out. If links are allowed, let me know and I'll post a link to the articles.
Yet another reason to get SIrius and avoid the liars at XM.

ummmmmm....since you obviously don't read very closely/well, I'll say it again clown...
Not once in my post did I say Sirius Radio is commercial free. The music channels are 100% commercial free....I don't recall the Howard STern channels being "music channels" or saying that Howard Stern is commercial free.
There are obviously commercials on the talk channels and the network-feed channels. If SIrius broadcasts ESPN radio cahnnel, and their network feedx has breaks for commercials, SIrius cannot magically fill that dead space with more non-existant programming...clown....however, XM continuously runs promos on their music stations tho, while claiming their music channels are commercial free. The XM music channels are XM EXCLUSIVES.....and they still choose to air commercials, despite their promos on terrestrial radio saying otherwise....ALso, look for several new music channels to debut within the next year on XM that have commercials. How will XM get around this? Simple. They are not going to call them music channels. CBS will own them.
