Hay FRONTMED Look here new OEMs for Sirius:
"Volkswagen will offer SIRIUS as its sole satellite radio provider for
vehicles sold in this country through 2012."
"Audi of America, Inc. today announced that it will offer SIRIUS Satellite
Radio as its exclusive satellite radio provider for Audi vehicles beginning
with model year 2007 through 2012."

Should add over 100k subs this year alone. Not an Earth shattering
deal, but it ain't bad either.

More than that by the time they count the unsold units on dealers' lots.

Very well could be Frontmed, could be more. Does it hurt much?

How long does a red-hot Chrysler-Jeep product wait to be sold?

70-90 days on average.

Not the models that have Sirius. How many days does a GM promo take
before the non non-taker customer starts paying for a sub?

About half that, actually.

Actually, you're wrong, I'm right.

No, it's running about a hundred days, depending on the product. Crossfires
run about 280. Minivans about 110-120. I am a consultant to DCX, so I know
these numbers intimately.

Nice to have someone with knowledge. How many days for the 300 and
Charger and Ram pickups? Those lines are Sirius heavy.

Thanks for straightening that out.
Some around here had been claiming a mean of 30 or 45 days.

Those are the ''red-hot Chrysler-Jeep products''?

Acxtually, yes. Certain 300's move well. Certain Chargers are impossible to
get without waiting 6 months. Certain segments of the pick-up line are also
firing well. Don't confuse DCX with Ford and GM. DCX has growing market
share right now. I could go into the numbers but they are boring and it
really isn't needed.

"We decided that the Audi customer demographic fit more closely with
the type of content that SIRIUS provides," said Wolfgang Hoffmann, head
of Audi Product Management. "We believe that SIRIUS will continue to
grow and create programming that our Audi customers will desire."

Then, there was this gem:
"We found that Sirius, in its desperation, was willing to pay a HELL of a
lot more than XM would for these installs, so Sirius was the obvious
choice."

Cool idea! Junk radio in a junk car.......
Everyone knows that VW and Audi are "Eurojunk"
Erich Schultheis, the man that owns an ISP.

It seems to me the below statement was posted earily by Frontmed on this
board and has no merit as it seems to me to be just another Frontmed
opinion.
