I have sirius and think its great but.... There is no rating system. There
is nothing like having kids in the car when a music station rips the F bomb!
Does XFM have any type of rating system ?I guess they use the F too?

Greetings,
I can't speak for Sirius, but on XM if you look at the display any channel
name that is preceeded by "XL" uses extreme language (for example - XL
Squizz, or XL The Rhyme, etc.). You can block these out with most receivers
using parental controls or maybe even directly through XM. Call XM's
Customer Service if you want to find out how for your specific receiver.
Cheers - Jonathan

You can lock out explicit channels on any Sirius receiver, or you can
also call Sirius and they can lock out the non-family friendly channels
from their end.

Well I don't want to lock out channels that I can use when there are no kids
in the car.
So at least xm does have a rating so there is no surprise. Maybe I should
look into xm.

The word is ''fuck''. Why don't you just explain to your unfortunate
progeny that uptightness is hazardous to their mental health and that
they shouldn't say ''fuck'' in front of Granny or the Parson.
