This weeks Best Buy circular has properly classified the S50 for what it is:

"SIRIUS Satellite Radio In Your Car—MP3 Player On-The-Go"

The returns were killing them; this is an effort to put people on notice
that it is NOT a portable satellite radio.

Now, I wonder if they're including that mile-long bug list? And the fact
that the product is now, after the agreement Friday, effectively orphaned?

This was done so they could sell and advertise the S50 in the iPod
section and car audio with a single ad. Why are you so stupid?

No, this was done so people wouldn't expect they were getting satellite
radio when they are getting a 1GB MP3 player. Which you can get at office
depot for $30.

I got a Sandisk after rebates for $30 less than a month ago.

I'm shocked that between XM and Fox News you have need to carry audio.

I don't. It hasn't been used yet. I got it for my son, who didn't need it
either. But for $30, why not.

I wasn't stupid enough to buy one of these turkeys, I can tell you that
much.

You are stuck with a piece of ---- that is an absolute orphan. Riddled with
bugs, now forced out of production by the music companies, not likely to get
anymore firmware updates (since SIRI's engineering people are busy
scrambling to figure out how to get a DRM compliant portable to market).

No telling what this blunder will cost Sirius.
