sirius s50 will not update, problem with the e: drive and error messages

The hand unit will not accept a firmware update. I am running the
latest version on my pc. When I connect the hand unit and try to
update it, it will not work. It says problems writing, etc., data
lost, some files copy, some do not, then I get tons of windows error
messages, then it is over and never updates. Has anyone had trouble
writing the firmware update to the s50 unit?

You'll have a hard time getting anyone around here to admit there are
problems with the S50.

If you haven't already been there, you might want to check out the S50 forum
at SiriusBackStage.com. They maintain a fairly comprehensive bug list and I
think there are others there who have hit problems with the firmware
downloads, as well.

Post over on Siriusbackstage.com. Sounds like something's wrong with
your flash partition. I'll either get to it or one of the other guys
over there will.
